Hello, I am new here.. And I am wondering what are some good headphones (over ear, or in ear) for 300 dollars or under? I listen to a lot of electronic music (house, dance, dubstep) and hiphop/rap so I would most likely want a deep bass headphone, but I also do listen to a bit of indie rock and a a bit of experimental electronic too (flying lotus, Com Truise) so I do not want the higher and middle frequencies to be out off tune.. What are some headphones that I should look into?

Depends on what your plugging the headphones into?
mostly a computer, and an ipod, nothing to fancy :/

I second the Audio Technica ATH-A900X, but it would be best to get something like the Fiio E10 USB-DAC-Headphone amplifier.
It would better then plug the A900X straight into the computer's built in audio.
and the Fiio E10 is on sale at Adorama for only $44.99.

The best hp I've heard at $300 is the Maddog by Mr. Speakers. It won't sound that great straight from the pc or ipod though.

I second the Mad Dogs. I have a pair and they are excellent with the type of music you listen to. I know, I listen to some of the same stuff and they perform flawlessly.Return HomeBack to Forum: Headphones (full-size)- Looking for a set of head phones for 300 or under
