For Sale:
Almost new Shure SE425 IEM - left and right earpieces only - no cable

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I bought these brand new retail yesterday but they are not the sort of sound I am after. Unfortunately here in Australia we are unable to return headphone purchases so I am offering them here instead. They were purchased at an authorised Shure Australian retailer (Addicted to Audio) and they have had 4 hours gentle burn-in and about 30 minutes of actual listening use since removed brand new from the retail packaging. Although I bought the complete retail package, I am keeping the cable as I was wanting to buy a spare cable for the couple of sets of Shure SE215 that I own in any case. And since a spare cable for the SE series costs over $100 here in Australia, it is better for me to keep the cable and just sell the earpieces themselves.

So what you see is what you get - just the earpieces and no cable. So unless you already own a cable for the SE215 / 315 / 425 or 535 series, these are not going to be of any use to you.

In order to keep postage costs as low as possible, I will just send the earpieces themselves - each wrapped - inside the hard shell Shure pouch. And I will put that pouch in either a VCR style carboard box or bubble wrap envelope depending on how robust I think the package is going to be and what will accomodate the hard shell Shure pouch. I will also include the bag of tips that came with the earphones, but the small and large Olive tips will be missing (since I used both of them myself in my 30 minute listening test).

Postage is the cheapest rate possible that includes delivery verification (Registered Post International). this costs around $19.95 Australian to the US and other countries will vary from this depending upon relative distance from Australia. This is the cheapest way to send them, since ordinary airmail and sea mail are hardly any cheaper and do not include insurance against loss or delivery verification. Registered Post International has both of these. For within Australia they will be sent Registered parcel post.

I am not responsible for any taxes or duties you may be liable for when purchasing this item and the full value of the item ($60 AUD) will be noted on the customs paperwork. The customs paperwork will also describe the items as merchandise (no gifts, etc).

If you want all the original retail packaging (except for the cable and the small and large Olive tips - none of which I am selling), I can do this but it will increase the postage because the package will have to be significantly larger and heavier. Given I expect these will be bought by someone already owning a Shure SE series earphone and justs wants to experiment, I am expecting the buyer will simply be happy to have them sent in the hard shell pouch as described earlier.

Payment is to my PayPal account in Australian dollars.
