Why are crossfade LP so disliked?

They seem to be just like the sony xb line in a sense. At the times where the price goes down, (like now), they seem like a sensible deal.

 

Is there something I'm missing? Like for example with the klispch s4's I found the highs were exceedingly screechy. Is it something like that?

I guess the black friday sale for $75 is getting people interested in these again...

They got all the hate when they were first released for $199... But for $75 they aren't bad at all.
