Digital output from PC to Yulong Sabre D18? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I have an Omega HT Claro+ sound card in my PC. It has both digital optical and SPDIF outputs. Would either of these be suitable to feed high resolution audio from my PC to a DAC (the Sabre D18 specifically)?

If this is not a good solution can anyone tell me why and offer alternatives?

Yes. I believe either will be fine, I'm using optical myself.
