I was just wondering the impact of Bass Boost EQ settings on stock music players in mobile phones. Do they degrade sound quality, or are they a legitimate option to increase the bass?
For example, would it make my bass muddier, or would it make the bass of my M50s sound like the bass of some HFI-580s?
Common logic says that it doesn't, but I was just looking for some opinions or research.
