Could these be the headphones that we fans of the nanotube have been waiting for?

Release date was October 2012.

I've found them in France:

and Spain:

I am so tempted, but I am waiting for a DT770 32 LE to arrive and I´ll wait, or not.

Oh man can't wait for 1st impressions of these esp. from people that has both the S500s and these S770s. Hope JVC tuned these vastly different and better than the S500s if that is even possible. Pretty amazing news out of the blue tbhh. popcorn.gif

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to get them unless I can find them for around $60, and they sound different, as a reshell is pretty easy.

This is why JVC is considered a generic brand in the US, they never bring their good stuff here.

In Europe JVC has always been of mid-high class quality. Especially during the 80s-90s JVC was equivalent to Sony more or less.

Not really the headphone people are waiting for. A tweaked S500 driver in a M750/S800 housing will be good but not the true full size most are waiting for.

My M750 vs. the RX in size...

1000

As an "S" phone they are still just a portable. Not a Japan model, so probably just for certain markets. USA has the M750 which has the same housing and almost the same specs and Japan has the S800 which is the same phone as the M750. Don't see JVC releasing the S770 in those places.

These should BE IT.  Read my first reaction about them posted in HA-S500 thread.

I will look up for the best price shipping included to my place, but I am ordering mine today.

That's the UE for us. VAT is around 20+% and the euro is too strong. To give you an example the SA400 goes here for 39€ MSRP that's $50.  I can imagine that if the S770 makes it to the states will be much cheaper than those $77 MSRP they are asking for over here.
