IEMs for iPhone [alternative for Etymotic HF2/HF3]

I was extremely happy with my Etymotic HF2 IEMs, but I lost them somewhere... Time for something new. I must emphasize that they must have a mic and controls so I can receive and make calls.

I don't have much experience with headphones, and in lesser extend with IEMs, but I can say that I absolutely loved the HF2s! Excellent clarity, balanced sound, perfect fit, (at least for me), and superb isolation.

Regarding the sound colour/timbre they have a resemblance with my AKG K271mkIIs. So simply said I want some balanced IEMs with an excellent isolation. I don't want an overemphasized bass! However, I also have Grado SR325is headphones which I totally love (but are not balanced), so if there are "Grado-IEMS with mic" I'll be very interested too!

I already made a list with candidates. Thanks a lot for the help in advance!

I was trying to figure this out but then I got a FiiO E02i Rocky wich provides a small amp (it doesn't need to be on for the mic/controls to work) and opens up the possibilities for any IEM or headphone to use with the iPhone.

If you liked the Etys, you may have a hard time moving to a significantly different sound.

Now that you don't need to have the on-cord controls, you might want to consider the Brainwavz B2 (or Fisher DBA-02, depending on availability). They have a similarly clear presentation, a bit more bass extension/impact. For my music, they can be sibilant or harsh on some tracks. If the balance of the additional bass is to your taste, it may be a better overall sound for you.

I've got a Brainwavz B2 + that amp for $132

Hmm... That amp looks good, but for me it's too bulky as I want to be able to put the headphones in my pocket (and sometimes use them while jogging).
