Hey guys...wow....that's a hell of a charger there!! I'm glad no one was ripped off on their purchases!

Head-Fi's Best Sellers
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here! I guess, on a small fishing boat, maybe a sippy cup would be best. There's an image for us all to savor. :)
Edit: I purchased my C&C BH from the 2nd link in eBay, the person in China, as opposed to the person in Hong Kong. Perhaps that was a mistake? Are Chinese days shorter than Western days? :)
"i will post it today.
you can receive it thanks
that's typical with Chinese. they put some long wait period because they have no idea how long their postal and customs will take to clear the shipment.
as a matter of fact i had C3 from China and had similar story when seller was telling me 4-6 weeks... then BUMP in three week C3 landed on me and that was Xmas and new year season too. so i would not feel so hopeless about shipment time and perhaps you even get it far faster than what Chinese tell you. HOPEFULLY... all what you have to remember is Chinese do not have a faintest idea about postal shipping so do not expect them to tell you correct wait time :-)))
also you have to know that many Chinese merchants do not stock but buy from stock merchants. so when you pay in your order your merchant sends a purchase order to the stock seller which takes additional time up to a week time. only then when they receive your item from stock seller they can ship this to you, normally between receiving your item from stock seller and shipping it takes about two days.
BTW, you can ask your merchant to give you a postal tracking number though in my case that number never worked :-)))
in China i deal via mistertao taobao... i would not go with a stand alone merchant directly as the risk of fraud is high in China.
yes, Hong Kong is more expensive but is also more reliable. my reason for using taobao over HK was the package i received which included many small presents for free like charger, additional cables, silicon case and a few else smallish things. otherwise i would order via HK.
@ iceFalkon :-))))
the charger that came with my C3 was not a part of the original package (C3 box normally has just player, USB and that's it) but in my package charger was a gift... so i politely said thanks BUT never used it... however i was very happy to receive a few smaller goodies like personal engrave on C3 metal backplate, silicon case, a few audio cables, a simple but practical fabric pouch in green color, a couple of microfaser cleaning cloths and else... all that for the price of standalone C3 from HK... so you know i could not complain about charger ... i just did not use it :-)

JA JA... pal, it makes the difference, so now you know ...
Well, I've got a tracking number which works with the Chinese shipping company AND the US Postal Service. There was a small delay between purchase and shipping, a few days, even factoring in that I ordered on a weekend. I DO have my fingers crossed that the amp gets here in a reasonable time; the seller's feedback is very positive re both quality and shipping. As to price, it was only a couple of dollars less, I just liked his site/info.
My C3 from Hong Kong came a day early, had a pair of hi soundaudio earbuds (list about $75), a cleaning cloth, a USB cord and charger attachment, a blue carry bag, was set to English, and had current firmware. And the box was really professional as well.
BTW, I tried the Rock EQ on some Rolling Stones discs I ripped to FLAC, on them it sounded good. Possibly because their engineering/mastering was so funky (except for the Jimmy Miller stuff, and even some of that when he got so messed up towards the end of his time with them). Gimme Shelter and most of Exile sounds pretty good with the EQ. Other than that, I run it on flat, and love it. Sounds really good with acoustic stuff. Thanks to all here for helping convince me to try this little guy out. Now if the C&C adds even more too it, I'll be even happier. :)
dude, we keep fingers crossed 4U2 :-)
C3+BH = WONDER !!!
concerning cable Icefalkon summed it up well. all i can add from my experience that high quality cable made of copper or copper alloy is best for shorter lengths while silver is best for longer solutions. i wired loudspeakers in my rig with 6m silver cable each direction ONLY because of the length. silver gives more fluid and open sound on longer cable. however if my wiring solution would be less than 3m i would go with pure copper of high quality.
as such is my experience i found best solution for interconnect to be high quality copper-silver plated or copper-silver alloy which deliver both of the fine worlds into my rig, namely wide airy stage and bodily rich sound.
for what is worth as i hold no absolute truth but share my humble experience.

I'm lingering at the station trying to talk myself out of boarding the C3+C&C hype-train, but it's getting harder and harder every day.
Harder for me to justify a ticket on that train as well... I have an E11 and an E17 that do an excellent job with the C3 right now.

Concerning Fiio i cannot comment since do not own any but people on forums who compared both prefered BH by a big margin.
I ordered the silver-plated cable from Hong Kong before I ordered the amp. :) Probably get it first, the tracking number from Hong Kong showed up two days earlier than did the one from Shanghai, which I paid for maybe twenty minutes later.
Guess I'm only halfway on the train until this thing arrives.

I don't know about E17, but C&C BH makes FiiO E11 run away and cry in the corner. Have a read in the BH thread sometime at the impressions of those who came from E11. It's no competition, It's like un-bogging your car from a muddy swamp and flying down the freeway at 100mph.
A few days ago I read a very detailed comparison of the C&C vs E12 vs O2 vs C421. They were compared on a number of hps. The C&C scored low compaired to the others, though it supposedly paired well with Mad Dogs which is what I'm after. With the C5 also entering the scene and other varieties like the mini3 to consider, my choice is becoming more difficult with each new post.
The C&C has the right price point and positive pairing from one person so atm it's in the lead.
If my galaxy s2's DAC didn't suck so bad I could avoid the need for a C3 and put that into the Portable amp fund. Oh well. I think I see my wallet picking up a machete.
