ESW-9 vs ESW-9JPN?

So I have come to hear about the two different versions of the ESW-9's.

Can anyone confirm about the existence of the ESW-9JPNs?

Also, the difference between the two?

Well, the two versions of the ESW-9 that I am aware of are the ESW9 and the ESW9A. The difference is the wood used in them. I don't think there is a sonic difference, and if there is, it is likely very subtle.

AT also made the ESW10JPN, which is a completely different headphone as it uses different drivers than the ESW9. No idea what it sounds like.

AFAIK AT didn't make a ESW-9JPN.

Does this actually mean all ESW-9s are cherry wood except the ESW-9A?

AFAIK, yes.
