Fun Headphones

I've been in search of some portable on-ear headphones, with the main criteria of being fun to listen to. I've owned a pair of HD-25's, that I regrettably gave to a friend, which I really enjoyed and now looking to replace.

I'd go for the same again, but I thought I'd try something different this time. I'm looking for something with strong bass and good punch, extension and speed. I often listen to dub-step so the bass quality is very important to me. I don't want anything muddy with good separation. The overall sound quality has to be good, but I wouldn't be able to live without the bass.

I've been looking at the ATH-ES10, but the somewhat crazy price point in the UK is slightly putting me off. It seems like the perfect fit for what I want, and I really like that they fold flat making them more wieldy when not in use around the neck, but is there anything better out there in their price range (~£370/$590) that would suite my preferences?

Cheers

How do the Sennheiser Amperior compare to the ES10? Are the ES10 significantly better sounding headphone for the price difference? I'm still looking for a portable can as I wait for my customs to come through.
