I listen to music on iTunes on my computer and I have AKG 271 MKII headphones and I have an Audioengine D1DAC/headphone amp. I am very happy with the D1, but I am thinking about upgrading to something better. 400-500 would be my upper end I could spend, what is in that price range that would be pretty good up grade from the D1? If I got a Schiit Asgard and hooked it up via RCA to headphone jack, would there be a signal loss doing that?
