Selling my HiSoundAudio Studio Class A Version 1 for $SOLD shipped within the US ($5 more for international).  It's in great condition, except for a barely noticeable scratch on the glass (in the attached photo, you can see it above the c in the word flac).  I hate to let it go, but I just bought a Galaxy Note 2 and am sticking with my phone gear for now.

 

This is the first version of the Studio before the Studio V.  I do not know what the difference in sound is with later versions, but it is amazing with my full headphones and my Heir CIEMs.  You can't beat the clarity and soundstage from such a small unit, and the battery lasts forever!

How is the Playlist Support on the studio 1?  Is it just 1 library or can u make multiple playlists?

I also read in forums that the Studio 1 is only for high impedance headphones, not for most iems.  What r ur thoughts?

I've never bothered creating playlists for the Studio or the BA, but the Studio does have a playlist folder in its internal memory.

 

As for using IEMs, I've used my Heir 4.a and 8.a with the Studio and enjoyed them more than with the BA.  Although I did hear some hiss during silence, it didn't bother me once the music started.  The overall soundstage was larger and the built-in Class A amp really elevated the music for me.  Hope this helps.
