For Sale:
Beyerdynamic DT770 Anniversary Edition ...Ship Worldwide

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Hello all

I received my DT770 Anniversary Edition yesterday from Thomann.de. I paid 200 Euros.

I was all set to return them but guess what? I sat on the empty box last night. The box is slightly torn so I can't return it now to Thomann.

So here I am, to sell the DT770 Anniversary Edition, at my loss, due to my ass lol.

Obviously, it's mint, only 24 hours old, comes with the box. I want the HFI-780, my long lost love.

I'm in Germany. Will post out to Europe.

165 Euro inc Postage and Packaging for the EU.

190 Euro inc Postage and Packaging for the rest of the World.

Bank Transfer, Paypal, what ever works.

Cheers.

Hi there,

Since you've got one of the headphones I'm currently interested in, could I ask you why you want to sell it ? Would you recommand it for movies and gaming ?

Hello there

I'm selling it because I prefer the bass of the HFI-780, which is deeper. I used the have the HFI-780 before it developed a problem and I returned it. Since then, I've tried many headphones, Ultrasone Pro 900, Beyerdynamic COP, DT770, AKG K550, but I still prefer the HFI-780.

Yes, I would definitely recommend the DT770 AE for movies and gaming. The are very comfortable, light, and have a good sound stage. In comparison, the HFI-780 is heavy, not as comfortable, and a narrow sound stage. However, I prefer the sound signature.

Thomann agreed to accept my return, despite the torn box. So, no longer for sale.

Guess what ? Since I was too late to buy it from you I've ordered the same model from Thomann.de - it was the best deal. I've just received the order, and when I opened the box, what was my surprise to see the headphone box was "slightly torn" in one corner, like if someone sat on it...

So it seems I still ended up with your headphone after all...

Anyway, it comes with a 3 year warranty so it's still a good deal.

I've just had the opportunity to test it during a minute to check if it works - sounds gorgeous to me, even if I was a bit surprised by the kinda weak basses (uneducated ears I guess). Now I have to wait until Xmas... too long !

Cheers.

How much did you pay from Thomann.de?

Basically, there should be three torn places. One on both sides of the hinges, and one on the left hand side of the inner box. I used super glue so it may not be as obvious at first. Have a look and let me know. That would be so freaky lol!

OK I've checked and tried to figure out where would be the repais according to your description. I don't know why but in my head I read you've used tape to fix the box, but only saw parts that were glued. Went "oh well..." and came back here to tell you I was wrong. And then I saw you've actually used glue.

So there you have it: yes, it's your freaking box !

Such a coincidence...

Anyway, I gave the headphone another test tour and it's truely amazing. With a good source it can go really far. Now my concern is just that: get a good source, so I fear I'll have to invest in a dedicated USB soundcard for my Macbook Pro.

Cheers !
