"At least" they don't. But the SQ compensates tongue.gif

Yeah, does that come with the silicone band? Or does the e11 or do you have to buy one of those. I'd rather not velcro my classic to my e11.

I can't figure out which one comes with the silicone band.

How does this thing compare to the HD 25-1 ii guys? Just pulled the trigger on that one, don't give me buyer's remorse!

There's no comparison. If possible read the thread and try to understand in which league we're trying to explain that the K167 belongs to.

Can you give me a couple of headphones in that price range that these compete with. I see that you have quite an extensive collection of headphones.

Yeah I through the whole thread but I'm still not sure if the K167 sound signature fits me though...

Anyway I should be contempt with what I have biggrin.gif especially since I bought the HD 25-1 ii for $100

I think the k550 look cooler, but i have heard them and they were kind of disappointing.  if the k167 don’t sound better, I’ll be pissed.

Beagle will likely be able to answer this after he has a chance to listen to his K550 and K167.

I am currently listening to the K550 and enjoying them a lot. They have a very nice bass presence in my opinion. But I do know that not everyone gets a good seal with the K550 which would definitely impact the bass. For me I do wish they were a bit tighter but because of their fit they are also extremely comfortable, something I don't want to lose. But the K167 does sound like the fit issue would be a lot less likely to happen.

In the end I would say it depends on if your music choices need a strong bass presence to sound right. I listen to mainly classical, Celtic, older Rock music, Jazz, acoustic, New Age, and some folk music. In other words nothing dependent on bass and some genres that can be negatively impacted by to much bass. So the K550 fits my music well. If I listened to genres like dub step and the like I imagine bass would become a lot more important to me and K167 would look a lot easier to choose.

The seal issue occurs with small heads right? I'm only 4'11 so that would be a big issue possibly
