Just noticed the notice.

You can't keep me away no matter how many security guards you have this time. I'll also try to dig up a few little goodies to bring.

I'm hoping we have someone bring an HD800 and some Hifiman stuff since I haven't had the opportunity to try the HD800 or any of Hifiman's planars on my setup.

Kind of in between headfi stuff right now but I'm definately in. Not sure what I'll have by then but more than likely either 650's or HE-500's, or LCD2 r1's or something. Might bring my new Rogue Audio Tempest III integrated tube amp with me with a laptop and DAC. Does pretty well with headphones.

Hey DannyB I was looking at your headphone inventory and was wondering if you plan on bringing your K1000's? I've wanted to hear them since I first read about them but I've never had the chance... If it's not too much trouble, of course! :)

Yes, the monitoring bracelet will be off by then but I may still be the cross dressing rehab program at that time and may need special permission to come to the meet that day. I may also show up in a dress but that's YOUR problem....not mine.  Perhaps I'm still in denial and in need some more therapy.

As a sidebar, I will plan to bring my HE6, HD650, Moth 2A3 with RCA monoplate 2A3 power tubes along with my TTVJ 307A amp and Mini-Torii amp--assuming I still have all this stuff at the time of the meet. I can also bring a CARY 303/300 as a source if needed. 

 

Additionally, if interested, I can bring my Woo Wee for the K1Ks and HE6 and also the Jade electrostatic headphones. Finally, if anyone is interested I can bring my pair of Grado HP1000 headphones with the new earpads from Joe.

Personally, I'm interested in hearing as many different set ups as possible. I'd say bring all of it!

 

I have been torn between getting either the HD650's or HE-400, but since I see several 650's coming I've made up my mind to get the HE400's. So at least I can bring something fun with me for others to try out! Plus it will be nice to compare them to the other HiFiMan cans.

Glad to hear about the bracelet, I hate the way they chaff your leg. If you need a letter for the rehab Supervisor let me know, I've done so many of them I now have a generic letter, all I have to do is change the name.

Hey Steve.

 

I am deeply saddened to hear that you did not like the Blue Dress on me. It is my favorite. As far as your integrated and MY HE6's ,well after your insult about my dress....let me tell you where you can put your integrated!!!

 

If it will make you happier, you can wear the blue dress this time and I'll go with the green.
