UE 4000 vs Sennheiser HD 449

Hi everyone.

 

Just wondering how the new UE 4000 sounds comapred to the Sennheiser HD 449.

I've been looking at these two headphones for a while and wondering which one I should purchase.

Please don't give me recommendations for others. Where I live, it's hard to find many other brands for a good price.

 

I am currently using UE700, and enjoy them very much. I listen to stuff along the lines of Radiohead and Jeff Buckley, with some heavier stuff like Dream Theater. I'm not a basshead, and I found the most enjoyable part of my UE700s to be the treble, and the soundstage.

Sennheiser hd 449 ftw 

-smooth treble 

-fast pace 

-great mids and soundstage

-tight bass

most people say, the hd439 is the better of the bunch.

Would that only be due to the better bass response?

How does the soundstage compare to the HD449?

 

The important factors to me in relation to sound is the soundstage, and treble.

All of which the hd 449 fit perfectly, also ue4000 is on ear while the hd 449 is over ear (the hd 449 gives better isolation)

I'm sorry, but I don't get how that answers my question.

I'm worried about the sound, not the isolation.
