I think he meant that he has to build up his finances

I really do feel like the 90's are the most difficult IEM's to categorize that I've ever had, and I'm sure the other 90 owners will agree. Hopefully I'll wrap up this review :S I have some Meelec tips on the way though, so I'll add in tip rolling after that.

That's music to my ears. A earphone that changes a lot by material and source is generally revealing same. If not to clinical doing so, it's a VG phone. I was hoping for it to be a 4ai with a more even mid and top. We know it's a great load for just about everything.

Ok, so I won't be getting the review up as soon as I had planned :| Be patient with me!

I will say one thing: The Magni/Modi combo sounds great with the 90's.

Do you think the fiio eo6 ( http://www.fiio.com.cn/products/index.aspx?ID=100000038039712&MenuID=105026001 ) will be able to drive the 350? According to specs, it handles up to 150ohm, but still, I read of people driving them with the ipad, which I don't think is a headphone amp.

Sound will come out, yes, but you might want something cleaner and a bit more powerful down the road. The Tzar 350 is ruthlessly revealing.

The iPhone5 actually drives them surprisingly well but one can clearly do better

Nice, I just thought that as the fiio e06 specs say that it drives from 16 to 150ohm it would under no circumstances be able to drive headphones with higher impedance.

Volume should be no issue but as Sorensiim said, better quality would likely be preferred.

Did any European have to pay custom fees? If so, how much? How much is shipping cost?

I'm a bit late to the party, my Tzar 350's just arrived today. I had to get Brannan to hold back on shipping them because I was out of the country on vacation.

55 USD, not 55 pounds, mind you.
