Is it possible to preorder the rendition 1? I've gone on their site but I don't really see any product page for it.

Just email heir and they can tell you how much money to send. They will key in the order manually. If you want some 4ai+ and the amp I'm sure they can help you all at once.

Everything Heir puts out seems to be really well received. I am really excited in the amp although it would be cool if you could customis it just like the EIM / CEIM's

Would be sweet if you can match the Volume thingy with the wooden inlays of the EIM's/// :)

I don't think we know everything about the Rendition 1 just yet. Don't expect pictures posted here are representative of the final product.

That is true, but they have a great track record. Looking forward to the first review / previews.

My Tzar 350 is out on loan to a Danish head-fier and ER4 user... I'll see if I can get him to pop by this thread and share his impressions smile.gif

Thanks, I am thinking of buying one, it is just that I dont want to buy it if it is just marginally better than the ER4S.

In short:

I'm very impressed with the Tzar350.

What the ER4S does good, the Tzar350 does equally good.

What makes the ER4S special to me is it's accurate sound reproduction with a great sense of air and space between instruments. I've never heard anything that could match the ER4S in this area, but I think the Tzar350 does. Furthermore I think the Tzar has more sparkling highs, that reminds me of beyerdynamic T70, which I love.

And in the areas where ER4S falls short, the Tzar350 still shines.

And this would primarily be bass. While ER4S has a good amount of bass for some types of music, I still think it's a bit lacking from time to time. The Tzar350 has more bass. But it is very accurate and never seems to interfere with the mids. It delivers very punchy and super detailed bass response. Something else to enjoy!

Well this was short, but feel free to ask, then I'll try to answer. I think the Tzar350 is crazy good, and I know I'm gonna have one. BUT I will still keep my ER4S. At least for a while untill "new toy syndrome" has gone away. ER4S has survived a lot of new inventions, and I will need more time to be shure. I really LOVE my ER4S, and they are not easy to let go off...

(I listened to the Tzar350 with Colorfly C4 and Isabellina HPA LFP-V Edition)

I am happy these are universal IEM's which probably means that some time soon a lot of them will be up for sale from people who think they do not have enough bass or sounds boring directly from an iPhone. They certainly sound like they are created just for my taste.
