But fit issues do suck I guess. can't Mcberto just reshell it? Or is this just a problem with all CIEMs (the part where it hurts when he talks)?

lol sorry I definitely meant downwards, considering the Miracles costs like 3 times it ...

And 'More money does not automatically get you better quality.' from Elnero, ofcourse this is true but Miracles are reviewed pretty well. Hving never used C-IEM before I am abit skeptical about my investment as I am not sure how neutral it is.

The more reviews I read the more complicated it gets !!

bangkokkid,

Is the fit and form factor of the 350 the same as the 4.Ai I tried at the San Diego meet, or does it have a smaller diameter tip or allow a deeper insertion depth?

Shell is the same as the 3.Ai/4.Ai.

The 3.Ai and 4.Ai shells are the same size?

Yes, they are identical in both size and color. The Tzar 90/350 are identical in size as well, but the color on these is more of a 'jet black' with very little to no purple.

Well, I don't know of any way that I would be able to prove it but I believe that I can tell the difference.

Hm...  OK.  I only asked because my 3.Ai is thicker than the 4.Ai I have on loan from Heir Audio.  The housings on the 4 don't look purple though... confused_face_2.gif  It's actually closer to black...

Here are pictures, the darker one is the 4.Ai, the more purplish one is the 3.Ai (4.Ai is on the left, 3.Ai on the right).  Sorry for the noise, poor lighting + no editing :p

My bad, I've been following this thread like a hawk since it started, and still forgot that XD

I swear, if I knew the 90's had a warm sig rather than a V shaped, I would get them over the 350's in a heartbeat!

Still not sure what the get. 350 or the 4.a (with 40% off)

2 different beasts but both very sweet. I have a set of 3.ai on the way any suggestions which combination you would go for.

3.ai and a set of 350's

or

3.ai and a set of 4.a 's (would be my first set of CEIM's.)

Both combos could be nice, it depends on your listening habits. For really diving down into a track, analyzing everything, noticing all the small audio clues that make it sound like you are there in the studio, the Tzar is great. For rocking out with a huge grin on your face, the 3.Ai rules. For long term pure enjoyment with a wonderful presentation of just about anything, the 4.A(i) is what you want.

What do you listen to?

Rock/Electro/Vocals: Go for 3.Ai + 4.A

Classical/choral/acoustic/Jazz: Go for Tzar 350 + 4.A

I mainly listen to Rock (Rage against the Machine), Ska(Tokyo Ska Paradice), Vocals, Dub etc
