Quite interested in the 350. Two drivers is really all an iem should need for sufficient sub bass and treble extension.

Me three (said the guy with a total of 16 drivers in his ears right now). Really intrigued by these as they should be flatter than Keira Knightley... Should be interesting to couple them with my ODAC/O2 setup for something truly neutral.

Also I think their will be one more Heir product to be onnounced.
Wizard also mentioned he thinks they will go well with high impedance daps, he is talking about the liked of DX1000 and AK100.

Ease up on the word "Flat" as we don't want to upset the 2cc coupler police.  There is a high Freq. boost, but it is modest, compared to another rather popular "reference" level IEM.

Hello,

Will be a Hisoundaudio Studio V strong enough to drive them?

Thank you.

Soo... you're saying they should sound and measure flatter than said reference IEM?

I like this but do we know what flat is in an IEM? I always felt that a few db more bass than an etymotic sounds flat to me and I tend to like a 'natural roll' on top as well. Will be interesting to see heir's take on this.

Wizard, will these be high impedance drivers or have added resistance and do you have efficiency #s? If you could make these effecient enough, DAP output impedance becomes moot.bigsmile_face.gif

It is strong enough but whether it has enough gain will be a better question. The amp Anv 3 amp section will go louder than the player lets it. Try it line in some time.

Sorry, that was exactly what I meant, strong enough to give good dynamics, precision, open soundstage, depth, strong bass and so on..all this things a good amp will give

.thank you for the answer.

Amp will do it if it plays loud enough overall. I think we're on the same page but I thought I'd rephrase to make sure.bigsmile_face.gif It just plays akg 701s loud enough on it's own but using the amp stage line in from my touch, it plays plenty loud.

There is quite a difference between a headphone going loud enough and a headphone being properly amped. It's not just about volume levels...

Subbed, really interested in these.

A shame i'll have to save up for them :/

Indeed. I review a lot of amps that can get my HD580s to a good volume (in fact i never turn them fully up) but sounds like crud.I mean my iPhone 4 can even be able to drive my HD580 to listenable levels but it is does not 'drive them efficiently'.
