Need an upgrade to my iPod touch 2g. Looking for a dedicated portable DAP. (<$100)

Thread Starter

I've been using my iPod touch 2g for almost 3-4 years now, and I really think it's time for an upgrade for me. The sound is pretty good yes, but a paltry 16GB means I have to convert my library to 128 AAC for even just a small portion to fit...which irks me :P

I don't wanna spend that much money, but if I can get something extremley exceptional, I will go above my current budget of $100 USD, but so far, I really wanna keep it at that.

I'm really only looking for a few things...

-STORAGE....Atleast 32GB (whether it be internal, or microSD) (I own a 32gb micro-sd)

-Compatible with Mac/OSX (my only computer is a macbook, it's the only thing I can use to transfer to and fro between whatever dap I'm getting)

Thanks for the help!

Get a Sandisk Clip+. It has a microSDHC card slot and great sound quality. The 2GB one is just $30, while the 4GB one is $35, and the 8GB one is around $55. Battery life is only around 12 hours though.
