Great feedback Dale.

You mentioned everything one needs to know about the Bryston's plethora of features but what we all want to know is... What did you pair it with and how did it sound? smily_headphones1.gif

The BHA-1 was Colin's, but I listened to a number of headphones on it - HD800s, LCD-2, LCD-3, PS1000, T1. My favorite was the HD800 for the most part, but Andrew's Audeze cans were also pretty great sounding , as were all the other Audeze cans. Surprisingly the Beyer T1s were nowhere near as appealing as they were when I'd heard them at previous meets. And worse yet, the PS 1000s were just downright disappointing. All told, the BHA-1 is a great sounding solid state amp that worked very synergistically with a variety of flagship headphones. It's most definitely on my list - as mentioned, by the next meet I'll either have a Mjolnir/Gungnir combo or a BHA-1/Gungnir combo as part of my setup.

Thanks Dale. The hd800 / Bryston combo was something I really wanted to hear. Next time I hope.

The actual date/time hasn't been decided yet, but the expected time frame is late May/early June. Watch this forum section (Local/Regional Head-Fi Meets, Parties, Get-Togethers) for the announcement in a month or two.
