Best 2.1 speaker system

Hey guys,

 

I am looking for a new speaker system but have no knowledge of audio.

 

Basically my plans would be to have them for my computer but potentially TV as well. If this is even possible/viable.

 

The speakers I have managed to find so far that appear to be good are the Corsair SP2500's.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions/alternatives?

Youll get various recommendations here make sure ro do your research and decide what you feel is best. Ive read to many polarizing reviews on the corsairs some say theyre good others really were unhappy with them. Do you really need a subwoofer? Many speakers deliver pllenty of bass in small, packages. Check out studio monitors they are the best bang for the buck, many people have replaced theyre expensive hifi systems with them, they are far mor superior in than youre regular computer 2.1 system.
