Nice to read yet another user impression on these. I still haven't received a item shipped email or any reply regarding my inquiry from Lend Me Ur Ears as of yet.
Hopefully I get some answers soon.

going thru those impressions posted by fellow head fiers, i`m sort of sold to try these tiny fellows. i have a feeling it may share a similar SQ with my first entry level iem - M1.

Oy. They're doing it again, with the world's most confusing names. Having a $400, $40 and god knows what else GR02, a $50 and $100 GR04, which are vastly different, the GR01 at the top, GR02 at the bottom. They really, really need a naming convention, because they create so much confusion that products which should fly off the shelves barely sell (GR04 Flagship) because of the confusion with an inferior product (GR04 Classic).

Yes, their naming convention needs improvement
! In any case, I wonder what are the tweaks like and how would the GR02 Vintage / GR02 Limited Edition sounds like. The latter is too costly to even consider! 2399 RMB!
Wonder if there are any brave and deep pockets head-fiers who are willing to dive in and try when they are released!
For those who can read Chinese, here is the Chinese version of the news released by Vsonic CEO that was lifted from one of the webpages:-
" 2012年12月份,VSONIC声学将推出两款 GR02的衍生产品,一款为GR02 Vintage即复古版,在5年前R02的声音基础上进行修改调音,限量3333条。目前售价暂未确定,上市后3个月左右将由新款GR02替代。另一款为特别订制的GR02 Limited Edition 即限量版,限量99条,售价为2399元。"
Enough of side tracking, are there any more impressions about VC02?

Just received my pair yesterday, still burning them in but they are sounding pretty sweet thus far. Female vocals are very clear and detailed, there does seem to be a bit of a hiss on certain songs but I'm hoping that goes away after the burn in. Highes and mid's are very clear and precise. Still not able to make a call on the sound stage but currently it seems small than my Silver Bullets but that may change with more burn in.
The bass on these babies are pretty unreal, for such a small dinky IEM, they are able to produce quite a bit of bass, not the deep bass from a Senn IE8 but its pretty darn good. I dont think a bass head would find them sufficient though. Its a very good all rounder and punches well beyond its price point.
More thoughts to come after burning them in over the weekend.

Thanks for your out of the box impression. I'm still waiting for a reply from Lend Me Ur Ears asking if mine have been shipped out yet or not.. My order status still says "processing" and I haven't received a shipped email so I assume they haven't shipped yet. It's been 5 days now and I still haven't received a reply to my email inquiry.

As the MH1-C (which I own) is a bass heavy IEM with great sub-bass response, I'd say they should be almost the opposite, as the VC02 is tuned for better midrange and treble response, with a much more balanced sound signature than the MH1-C...

It wasn't the exact same thing, as the words and phrasing were different. What I said is no lie, but my apologies for trying to answer your question...
