Ipod Touch EQ app causing stuttering

My songs are stuttering so bad with the equalzier app on ipod touch 4 when watching the graphic moving up & down bars.

 

 run so slow. for example, you press pause & 5secs later it pauses.

 

And it usually frezzes the ipod up while playing the song without stuttering.

 

Anyone had this?

Yes, I had that then downloaded SonicMaxPro - much better app.

thanks.

 

Would I be still be able to play all my flacs I dragged in the Equlzerpro App folder?

 

 

doesnt look like this one supports flac.

Nope, no FLAC with SonicMax. Either convert them to ALAC or to MP3 and then they will play just fine.

Id rather just use wav than alac.

 

Anyway further use of Equlizer Pro has me all wrong about its negatives.

 

Best thing i found to do with EQ pro is turn off any apps in background you dont need & it seems to play flac almost perfect if you just leave it. Dont search or use any other apps while playing & its fine. The ipod gets somewhat warm when the app is open on screen, so I return to the main icon screen & it seems less warm.

 

That way just play a whole playlist which can be hours.

 

Also this app can not play heavily compressed mp3 without excessive stuttering. But i dont care Flac is my main format.

Precisely! I can see no reason to use it on any DAP....and I sure as heck wouldn't buy a DAP that only played WAV, either.
