Mind me, but how is it worse? Are you speaking in regards to functionality and support? If so, I do agree. I will have to convert my music to the AIFF format when I upgrade from my iPod Classic to either of the "budget" HiFiMAN digital audio players. However, at current, I wouldn't say the codec is entirely terrible.
