I heard that HE400 isn't really good for vocal, some of my friends said that the treble are pretty harsh, overall sounding is warm and dark. HE500 would be better suited for vocal but that might be out of your price range.
AD900x seems to be a good choice, people say that they sounds like A900x, but more airy.
yeah he500 is out of question, its to expensive :p
how will the ad900x compare to Akg 702 anni ?

Okay, the grammar and spelling police have arrived. ![]()
Let's start by tackling the three tos: to, too and two.
He went to the shop.
It's too expensive.
There are two apples.
Sorry, but this is the most persistent error on this forum. From now on we're going to have a virtual jar on the side of the page into which you drop a dollar coin for every transgression. Good luck. ![]()

Wasn't picking on you, oopeteroo. Not expecting perfect English either. It's just that occasionally a common error starts to get a bit too common...
Don't feel bad. I was told off recently for persistently misspelling "Caesar" as "Ceasar". Unforgivable really.

Don't know if the OP got his problem (?) solved.
I listen to quite the same kinda music too and own the CD900ST and W1000X which was mentioned earlier.
CJKpop can't really be mentioned together imo.
Alot of C and Kpop music aren't mastered very well and the CD900ST makes me cringe when I listen to them.
(T-ara's absolute first album is absolutely fantastic though!)
Alot of Jpop, (not including Korean artistes trying to venture into the Japanese market) on the other hand tend to sound fantastic with the CD900ST. This is true even though I'm listening straight from my laptop (currently overseas for work and all gear except DAP and 2 earphones have moved together with me).
Can't comment about the AD900X. Have always given it a pass as I'm not interested in open cans.
Not interested in the HE-400 cos it's not Japanese. hahaa...
Anyways, the CD900ST is great value for money to me. Have to really try it out for yourself though because it will likely be a remarkable encounter (either hate it or love it).
