Received these 2 days ago and have been enjoying them. The noise isolation is quite amazing. They stay in very well provided that you do hook it around your ear and not just leave the cables hanging straight down. I actually wore these sleep one night and eventhough i toss and turn, these were still snug in my ear by the time i woke up. However, i think the earplug part (ear sleeve??) may be a bit too large for me and causes strain on my ears. It also makes it very difficult for me to put these on. The strain is not overwhelming but it is definately noticeable. I find these to be quite uncomfortable really. But having said that, i havent seen many others complain about the size of the ear sleeves so maybe its just me lol

I have demoed the Blue version extensively, and I have to say I prefer the Black version. The blue one can be too boomy for me in some tracks.

But then again I'm no (longer a) basshead and YMMV.

I'm actually wondering whether to get this limited edition one as my nice IEM or the Vsonic GR07 ones. Cause I live in Singapore and its just a short 30 minute train ride hehe. Any help here?

the easiest way to decide is to have a taste of both of them,

if im not mistaken, you can try both at jaben singapore..

me personally can't have a taste of both, cos there's no audio store here that offers audition for both, and my options are the same as yours, between GR07 or 215 SPE,

but i think i'd chose 215 SPE instead GR07, mainly because the replaceable cables

hmm and also maybe because it's limited edition. I dont think the Vsonic MK2 will be out of production anytime soon. Or if there is a V-moda booth at a upcoming convention, thats the top of my list. The M-100

I tried the gr07 and was blown away by the right/left sound stage width. They are much more mid-centric than the SE215 to my ears. I could get used to it, but I like the ss of the SE215. I wish I could have the ss of the 215 with better sound stage!

Sorry to ask you but what's ss? And I've trouble deciding between the limited editions of the SE215 and Vsonics Gr07. Which one would you recommend more

SS : Sound Signature maybe?

I can't belive it but my local electronic shop sells both the black version and the LE edition of the SE215 and they priced it for the same price tag.

Does this make any sense? I mean the LE should be a few dollars more don't it?

Sorry, I was typing on my phone and was in a rush. I meant to say sound signature!

I couldn't really recommend one over the other honestly because they are so different. It depends on what you want out of the sound. In my opinion, the GR07 is a wonderful IEM, but you have to adjust to the sound signature. It is pretty mid-heavy but nicely detailed and has decent low end. It's very smooth overall. Once you have adjusted to that, I think they are hard to beat, especially in terms of sound stage. The SE215 just can't compete in that area, but it has a sound that I like more. It is pretty heavy on the bass, but with nice warm mids and a relaxed upper end (I am not very tolerant of sibilance). I like the thump they give, but I have other earphones for when I'm in the mood for a different sound.
