Is it just me, or is it whenever loses an IEM, it's always the Triple.Fi 10s?

I'm serious. Whenever someone asks for a new pair of IEMs, then always claim to have owned and lost their Triple.Fi 10s, and that they are looking for a replacement for them.

I've come close to losing my IE80s several times. But since getting my upgrade cable fixed with the new sturdy plugs (like the ones that come with standard cable) I don't have that issue anymore. I'd have to really attempt to take the ear pieces off to get it off now. Most times I almost lost it was when getting out of my car...

I've never lost my TP10s, but I don't partake in pill-sized hallucinogens either. Coincidence?

I could see how people lose them if they become unplugged from the cable and they lose them somewhere, but I don't own a pair so I'm not sure how strong a connection they have to the cable.  Then I assume people won't want to get another pair of them for fear of losing them again, however I would imagine most people with any IQ would be smart enough to keep there $350 headphones in a case rather than lose in their pockets, but that is just hope.

For me it's not convenient to carry the case everywhere with me. Unless I have some sort of bag. But that really isn't an issue anymore since I got my silver cable fixed and upgraded the plugs to plugs that come standard on the IE80s. You'd literally have to try and pry them off to get them to come off. Before with the old connectors I could end up removing them from the connector by just putting them on. So it was really bad. Now I don't have any fear of loosing them anymore. I never felt that way either with the stock cable. The TF10 seemed really well placed onto the cable as well (not nearly as sturdy as the IE80) but at the same time I felt like I was more inclined to break the TF10 by attempting to remove its cable....
