Corrupted Folder in Cowon X7

Hi everyone,

 

I discovered a corrupted folder in my Cowon x7. It used to be a folder with some music files but now it has only files with strange characters and the mp3 files are gone. The size of the folder is huge (almost 9 gb) and there were not that much files in it... The characters are to long so it is not manageable. How can I solve this?

hi there,

 

im not sure what happened but i believe you have plugged out the USB cable when it was transferring files, or did not safely remove the drive.

 

I have held the X7 for 2 years, as my experience, there is no way you can solve it though. you can contact cowon and ask for advice but do note that X7 itself has a HDD, so it should work similarly to the HDD in your computer. =)
