Ocharaku Flat-4 KAEDE (Maple) - Page 8

SUI is nice, I hope you like it. I will be reviewing it eventually, but right now I'm getting busy setting in at a new studio. KAEDE will probably always be the golden goose for me...

The Kaede does sound real nice but I'm at that point where I have to sell gear off before getting anything else more pricey :P.

So I have discovered that the Flat 4 Kaede can be worn with the cable over the ears whilst walking around Hong Kong this morning.

With the cable hanging down I just could not get an optimum fit. Yeah, I am not the adventurous type....

Anyways, when I got home, I reverted back to the Ortofon tips. Still slightly hot sounding, but the way this IEM portrays presence and immediacy is quite breathtaking.

Hi spkrs! How do you compare the Flat 4 Kaede with IE800 and 1+2? Would like to see some comparison. Thanks!!

I also feel that those 2 attributes make the kaede stand out from the crowd.

It's nice and different alright, but imo can't replace your everyday tight sealing iems e.g. tg334, 1p2

But I thought it was your favorite IEM now ;). The 334s gave me an almost custom like fit even in comparison to the 1Plus2. Could also be a part of the reason I found them very bassy. :P

Anyways my Flat4s were shipped out today and hopefully will have them by Monday or Tuesday :). Can't wait to see what's the hype all about. tongue_smile.gif

It shouldnt be an issue, it is your opinion after all. I for one love you hear your opinion, considering that you have bought all the other IEM while been a MOT it might tell that you are not biased on trying different IEM and appreciate them for what they are.

Kevin,

You shouldn't tempt me:(

The only enjoyment I get from these IEMs is using them while going shopping with the Wife and buying her stuff because of these IEMs:(

Well audionewbi that's not how it works here on headfi. If you really want to hear his opinions it is best to take it to PM to follow the mods rules.
