It is very good, so I don't think you will be disappointed. Be sure to flash the latest firmware once you get it though, tutorial and files are found on ASUS' website.

 

Also, there is a slight imbalance between the left and the right channel on the three first steps on the volume knobs (individual knobs for XLR/RCA and headphone out), but you won't be having it that far down when listening anyways. Don't know if that applies to all units, but it is that way on mine.

I'm intrigued by that too. Read about it over at 6moons. As I understood it, the difference is mainly that it has a gain switch (which might come in handy if you use highly efficient and low impedance headphones without the option of turning down the volume on the source, ie; not a problem when using foobar) and that it uses MUSE operational amplifiers.

 

I believe it comes in three versions "Standard", "PLUS" (additional opamps and an IC extraction tool) and "MUSE" as mentioned above.
