I'm pretty sure it will get stuck in customs again if not and this will be something hisound will have to deal with at that point. You need to press that issue with them that now China is heavily cracking down on the importation of batteries. I think this could have all been avoided if there was tracking infor for one. But also if hisound kept contact with the carriers and went down to sign for the package. But maybe there is fees to release such a package? I don't know?

The battery is actually half of the reason I'm sending the Studio-V back. Hisound has not mentioned anything to me about this crack down and it wasn't until after I sent the package that I became aware of this issue on the forum. What do you suggest?

Well obviously it was the reason they did not receive your package. I figured you would have learned from this and not repeated the same steps. You're gonna have to talk to hisound about this because it is most likely gonna be a problem yet again. I did mention this issue a long time ago on this thread though on a few occasion in reference to having the same issue with mp4nation and the Sflo2 being stuck in customs for months. That was until they went down there in person to sign for the package.

I don't know if anyone else got this but in case you didn't;

I got an email from hisound with a 10% off coupon. The customer service there said I can reuse the coupon and give it to friends too...I got my studio 3 For £198 with free shipping from the UK. Worth doing if you're in the EU as there are no customs. Anyway the code is NC2013

And the site is hisound.co.uk

Can anyone recommend some iems for use with the studio? I've just washed my pfe 132 frown.gif so I'm going to have to get some new ones. Anything around the £100 mark? Preferably with no hiss smily_headphones1.gif

Thanks

Etymotic ER4s, Vsonic VC1000, Westone W2. I think the Etymotic HF2 is very similar to your old Phonaks. I prefer them slightly sonically but the best tips for them are deep triples.

I have been using Klipsch X10's with mine.

Earphone Solutions is clearing out Westone 4R for $299, which seems like a good price. I have the UMX3Rs.

This. Possibly some of the best synergy I have heard. I was ready to call it quits with ER4S / Studio V.

Er4 for me too. Dont really need anything else after that. Im going to jump on that 4r that was mentioned myself, 299 seems like a pretty great price, but a bit out of your price range. Could also maybe give the golden crystals a try? I hear they are good but over priced wt retail, but im seeing them for £65 on the link you gave which seems like an awesome price

I've always been curious about the etty's and now that I know several of you guys think it pairs well with the Studio, I would like to try them. Which Er4 is recommended, or the most sought out version of the er4? ...is it the er4s?

Yes, the ER4S, sounds rather analytical imo,  kind of reminds me of a music dissecting tool when you put them both together.

Like listening under a microscope and may not be 100% versatile to every genre imo. Feed them acoustic, symphony or properly mastered tracks and they shine together.

It's all about extracting raw detail the combo, I often found myself searching for the correct album/track, like a challenge to better the last.

I just bought a used pair of Er4P!

I've been reading up on the Ettys, and I'm glad to finally get a chance to hear them for myself! I'll try them out first, but I'm already looking to buy some of these adapters on ebay and a 75ohm adapter also.

I'm looking forward to trying it out with my Studio, and I have a feeling they'll do good on my Hifi-M8...

Congrats mate, let us know how you find them. I was listening to mine this afternoon, you'll keep going back to it time and time again imo.

There's a pretty cool adapter here if you're interested.

I was looking at this adapter, but on second thought, I'd prefer the form factor of the one you pointer out much more

(plus shipping should be faster ).

Thanks again!

there's one on eBay for $320 USD, shipping from Canada, so not sure how much shipping fees will be. Maybe you can send the seller an offer? you never know!
