Have you heard UE900? If not, no it is not a good idea. Find out if you like it or not. Having said that, UE spent thousands of hours engineering the UE900 and made what they believe is a state of the art flagship IEM. What is you motivation to re-shell? With dampers and housing design it may end up sounding quite different. What makes you think someone can slap those drivers into a custom shell and they will sound better?
I don't understand the concept of re-shelling. Just buy a custom from the get go.
