Main differences:
K267 has better build quality, metal instead of plastic.
K267 is heavier and not as comfortable
K267 sound is similar to K167
K267 bass can be adjusted in 3 steps (all sound good)
K267 is much more expensive
K267 doesn't isolate as well as K167
Of course the K267 sound great, since it's similar to K167, but I believe what you really pay for is the build quality.

Thanks for the quick reply.

They might be worth looking into... (just for the heck of it... still happy with my main HPs... ;))

Thanks.

How much worse is the isolation? And just how much more uncomfortable are they?

Still... I don't know if I can get the K167 now or wait for the K267. They are kinda pricey anyway...

Also can I still consider the K550 since the K167 is made of plastic?

Overall what are the Pros/Cons?

Plus, there might be some VAT (Value Added Tax) applied to the $429 Euro price, too.  After the price gets up to about $500 Euros, the fun in this game is pretty much zapped on the K267 model ... and someone's pockets will be empty for a few months, too.

I HIGHLY doubt the K267 is nice enough to justify $500 price tag..that's crazy for a DJ headphone...I'll wait till next year and get it when it drops below $200.

We need a formal comparison between the K167 and K267. They have different drivers and are built differently. They can't possibly sound the same.

The K167 has excellent isolation FWIR. So even if the K267 has less isolation, it will still have good/decent isolation.

This is why I am fine with the K267 having slightly less isolation than the K167. The K167 is already apparently better than the ATH-M50's at isolation, so being between the two wont hurt at all. The below doesn't hurt either.

Can't wait to get my K267's..

It would be great to have some pictures that didn't come out of a 3D modeling program. Just saying. biggrin.gif

I hope so but I use DT770 with dynamat lined cups and leather pads- I consider them the bassline for isolation and less does not interest me much. The K550 are okay but I need more. Opening those cups reveals scarce room for dampening unfortunately.
