Yet another price drop, a whopping $80 of retail price, you won't even notices these are used.

Really need to sell these, they are very versatile and quite neutral with excellent detail retrieval and soundstage

What can you say about the sound sig? Can you compare to a Beyer or AKG?

All i can say is that they are super detailed, with great extension on both ends, and slightly forward mids. Very neutral and comfy too.

Versatile with great soundstage.

Yet again had some interest, but nothing came of it, so these great cans are still available, $170 shipped to your door

Tell you what, if I win my traffic court case on Thursday (sadly a slim chance) I will immediately take them off your hands :)

Also, if you end up hanging on to them until Christmas, I may be interested. The funds just aren't there quite yet.

Best of luck with the sale!

Sounds good to me, I'll still keep the classified open.

Good luck with your case.

If you could compare these to ATH-M50s, what I currently own, what would you say about the differences? I know you mentioned earlier with Davils Advocate that the hp200s are far superior.

Obviously, these are open and the M50s are closed cans, but as you have owned many headphones in your time what would you say the biggest difference I would notice would be.

I'm looking for more neutral headphones for home use; mainly with some classical music, rock, alternative and trance music (when I want to get a more refined listen to what the artist themselves thought I should hear). Don't get me wrong, the M50s are amazing and they kick-started my interested in audio but I'm content now to try something a bit more... refined? I guess is the word.

The main difference is that these are very detailed, don't have the boomy bass of the M50, these are a lot more neutral, the mids are slightly forward.

I listen to a lot of rock, and these do better than the M50, I think the M50 are better for bassy music, these are better for general listening and they reveal fine details much better.

Also obviously soundstage is not even comparable neither is instrument separation.
