They are regardless amusing to watch. And most Americans are mindless, so it makes sense to me.

Until we all have something else to spend our time on, its hard to see why there'll be a lack of an audience.

Because it will get repetitive and uninteresting? I mean we where first with Survivor over here and believe me there is many like me that is so damn tired of the genre they stoped watching tv altogether just due to all the crap on it.

Tv is still quite young but how many of the shows from the 70s feel fresh today? Is the new season of Dallas as interesting as when it originally aired?

Seinfeld is one of the few series from 10+ years ago that I can still look at. I think there is a series or two of '24' that I missed, and I plan to get the 'dodgy DVDs' for that along with Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and others when my plane finally lands in Bangkok < 18 months from now.

This particular show (or any show) yes.

The genre of reality tv, no. Today its this, in the future there'll be something else to take its place. I think its an ingrained need of us to have an interest in other people's lives. The TV just makes it easier.

I'd say more than 75% of celebrities would fit in that statement. You wouldn't recognize them if you'd see them without makeup and fashion etc.

I saw the show a few times and I thought it was interesting because I live close to Calabasas where Bruce Jenner lives.

It's interesting to see how rich people live. Also Kim is pretty and I would like to see her in a bikini.

Some of Bruce Jenner's daughters are pretty too. I just like looking at good looking people.

As far as content goes, I usually watch the show at the gym, so I can't hear anything they are saying.

"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the american public" - Henry louis.

Really I think people that get disgusted by such programming are a minority. In terms of costs for the producers and stations it's a win. However.. catering to the lowest common denominator has a price.
