In Ear Monitor Recommendations

I'm looking to buy an inexpensive (less than $100) pair if IEMs, I listen mostly to metal, hardcore and melodic hardcore. Also, if there is a particular thread I should be posting this, please give a link. I also plan on mostly using these for walking in the Winter, so it'd be good if they were still comfortable while wearing a beanie/toque over my ears.

Do you mean <$100?

I recommend the Hisound Crystal, Soundmagic PL50, Dunu Crius.

How good are the PL50s for hardcore?

They are great, not the biggest in terms of bass, but they have great speed and clarity

Those DUNUs don't seem too bad for wearing with a beanie (I'm mostly getting IEMs in preparation for Winter haha) either, how do they sound compared to the PL50s?

They should sound slightly more refined and airy compared to the soundmagic. Both are detailed and fast, with tight punchy bass.

Alright man, thanks for the help. I guess it'll come down to which of the two I can find a better deal on. Unless you have a good final reason or two why one is better than the other!

Dunu has better build quality, soundmagic are more comfy.
