For sale is my HE-500. I am the first & only owner (purchased it from an authorized HiFiMan reseller.. HeadRoom). As with all my gear, it's in mint condition.. not a scratch or scuff anywhere. It comes with the hard case, 1/4" adapter, two sets of earpads (velour & pleather), and two cables (see below).
I've attached a plush, new HD600 (headband) cushion to the HE-500's headband (using durable, but easily removable double-sided tape). This cushion more evenly distributes the phone's weight & balance across the head, reduces fatigue on the neck, and greatly improves comfort over the stock HE-500.
I've had the stock (silver) cable re-terminated to banana speaker plugs (by BTG-Audio) so this HE-500 is ready to be used with a speaker amp! I had Brian reinforce the coax plugs on this cable, too (an area that was quite vulnerable to breakage due to poor strain relief) so you're getting a better cable, as well.
I'll also be including an impeccably built, custom silver cable (by Chris_Himself) for single-ended connections: 4 ft, 7N purity, sleeved, and terminated to a (DHC) 3.5mm plug.
