Just curious: Will you be updating this post by slotting in new high-end cans? Say Audeze LCD-4 comes around, or a Beyerdynamic T2, or ... well, something. Will you then update the thread and slot them in at spot 7.5 or 5.5 or so?

And also He7.

(But I doubt that Fang could create a better can than He6)

As mentioned before, I d really love to see the HIFIman HE-400 and the HE-5LE added.

I ll be getting the HE-5LE and washoping to see how it compares to the HE-500 when driven properly :)

Again, thanks for the brilliant effort! This is an epic accomplishment.

What a thing to behold! Really thanks!

David, up to what level is the SA5000 the best in details and resolution?

Thanks!

Hi David, I've been reading much on the  reviews/comments at Head-Fi, as I was planning to purchase a headphone. Glad that I stumbled-upon your review and found it well written, organised, and very objective. I managed to do a shortlist for auditioning based those i found suitable & within my budget. KUDOS and many Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand the question exactly.  Do you mean, for what price would the SA5000 be top class with regards to detail retrieval?

Thanks again!

The HE-400 is definitely on my shortlist.  I think it got the most requests of all the headphones not included.

I miss it in your summary.

Sorry, I missed this one.  I haven't yet looked for the Jecklin, though I may add it at some point.

What do you think of it?:)

I had not heared one, but I hope I could hear the Jecklin on the Vienna "Klangbilder12" http://www.klangbilder.eu/

Quad Musikwiedergabe,  Manfred Stein are on this event with the new Jecklin.
