As mentioned before, I d really love to see the HIFIman HE-400 and the HE-5LE added.

 

I ll be getting the HE-5LE and washoping to see how it compares to the HE-500 when driven properly :)

Hi David, I've been reading much on the  reviews/comments at Head-Fi, as I was planning to purchase a headphone. Glad that I stumbled-upon your review and found it well written, organised, and very objective. I managed to do a shortlist for auditioning based those i found suitable & within my budget. KUDOS and many Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand the question exactly.  Do you mean, for what price would the SA5000 be top class with regards to detail retrieval?

The HE-400 is definitely on my shortlist.  I think it got the most requests of all the headphones not included.

I had not heared one, but I hope I could hear the Jecklin on the Vienna "Klangbilder12" http://www.klangbilder.eu/

 

Quad Musikwiedergabe,  Manfred Stein are on this event with the new Jecklin.

if you had the choice to listen to the he-500's or hd650's which one would you choose specifically if you want to catch the emotion of the music.band ex: mars volta, at the drive in, tool etc
