Actually depending the nature of the relationship, asking such a question could have a negative impact that relationship.

Stax knows head-fi, no question about it (there are a bunch of weird guys walking around with t-shirts at the Fujiya shows twice a year). About the sponsorship, this hasn't been discussed and indeed I am not sure how much interest there would be given Stax themselves don't really read english and couldn't make use of the medium as a form of communication. What we're doing here is probably as good as it's gonna get... As for the advertising value by itself, it's been said, these products are selling themselves and Stax is more about niche / small user base than huge expansion. I could be wrong though, so I am sure Jude will try to have a chat next time he comes to Japan if he feels this is worth it ;).
