Sorry, my attempt at a joke. Do you think you'll be able to share some pictures here? I'm sure we'd all like to see some.

My Japanese is too lousy to do any translating unfortunately. I'm sure a translator could be arranged, but it would cost.
I can free up Friday the 7th and fly over. If people are up for a meet that weekend I'll stay overnight.
For all the headfi members and others interested in this thread. I must make it clear THAT I CAN NOT PUBLISH PHOTOS, WORDS, ETC UNTIL AND IF I HAVE THE FINAL APPROVAL FROM THE STAX EARSPEAKER COMPANY. IF THEY DON'T GIVE ME APPROVAL, NOTHING CAN BE PUBLISHED ANYWHERE. THIS IS THE AGREEMENT THAT HAS BEEN STRUCK. The capitol letters are not intentional.
Typically, you sign an NDA and in there is a clause about not taking pictures and discussing what you saw with others. You can only publish what they approve.
This is pretty much standard practice by most companies.
You're very welcome. I was actually pointing it to others here who might not be aware of such things. And if they don't ask to sign an NDA, its always polite to ask them. I'm not a legal person. I used to work as a manufacturing test engineer and we had contract manufacturers in Asia - Japan, Taiwan and China. Unlike our competitors, we were always at the manufacturing floor watching the workers make our products. We would often see our competitors' products made just next to our assembly line.
Sorry for the off-topic.
