I've been reading reviews for idk how long and I just can't seem to find a solid choice for a closed can I want something relatively neutral that isolates well And has good quality highs but not too sharp I was great pronounced mids especially vocals as well as good instrument separation that don't get drowned out by the bass I don't want something anemic but not overpowering and nice and deep is his too much to ask for closed cans if so just tell me if not please tell me what headphones/portable amp dac combo to use price is not a factor as long as its under 1000$ msrp
The headphones I've been looking at are k550 & k701 ath w1000x & a900x, pro 900, denon ah d series, shr 940& 840
Amps I am looking at the predator, ibasso12, pico slim, ttvj
I listen to all different types of music from country to techno and would like a headphone good for them all
Any and all recommendations are welcomed I could really use the help of an experienced audiophile

Sounds like Shure SRH-840 or 940 would fit the bill perfectly, depending on how much you want to spend.

Heya,

Look into:

AudioTechnica A900X

Denon D5000

AKG K550

Beyer T70

Mr Speakers Mad Dogs (modded T50RP) with Stax Pads

Consider JDS labs O2 amp with ODAC dac; combo unit would be ideal. Alternatively, consider Music Streamer II with Schiit Asgard.

Note: the SRH940 is a very bright headphone that sounds quite anemic (mid bass is pretty much not there, it can do some quiet sub-bass though). It's not what you're looking for likely.

Very best,

The first thing that comes to mind is the SRH940. With that said, most of the headphones you listed don't need an amp, minus the K701, but the K701 shouldn't be a too good portable headphone. Semi-open, and it's rather large. If you want a really nice performance/value amp, the Arrow 4G is a great choice.
