For Sale is a highly modded T50rp.

 

The headphones are dual entry hardwired with the famous Mogami 2534 cable and sleeved with Techflex.

The cable features the miniature 3.5mm ViaBlue plug and the very sexy looking ViaBlue Y-splitter.

 

The headphones have been painted white using Lacquer paint and protected with a Lacquer clear coat finish.

The original T50rp locking jack has been removed and filled in with automotive Bondo to provide a smooth and flawless finish.

 

Oh, and yes those are the Stax pads.

 

These headphones are in near perfect condition. 

The future owner of these headphones will truly enjoy this beautiful work of art.

 

I'm asking SOLD I will ship for free anywhere in the CON US.

Good question!

 

I tuned it using a mixture of modification techniques. 

This pair is mainly based off the Rastapants 2.2 mod with a few internal tweaks for my personal taste.

I tuned MattTCG's T50's the same way.

I've listened to these; Matt's exactly actually. These are like dark Mad Dog's, very mellow, dark signature, rolled off treble, perfect mids, and very low and controlled bass. Kind of like a darker closed back LCD2 actually. Isolation was great. Stax pads made quite a difference there and sound stage is great.

 

Truly an excellent headphone. I'd buy it if I didn't already have too many.

 

Free bump; excellent headphone for the price.

They do have a similar sound signature to the LCD-2's.

This is a great head-fier and true craftsman. Don't let lack of feedback put you off, this guy has done a fair bit of work for me and is incredibly reliable. Most of all though, he is a true craftsman. Don't be surprised to be paying more for his work some day. wink.gif Oh, and these headphones sound incredible..

Hi pwnm30rdi3, I've been out of the T50RP modding game for a while now, but would love a finished pair for personal use.

Can you take a picture of the cup with the locking mechanism filled in? I'd just like to see how it looks, and is it possible to get a quote for shipping to the UK?
