For Sale or Trade:
Selling Audeze LCD3

Will Ship To: U.S.A

Need to sell my lightly used Audeze LCD3 to finance some other audio equipment. Used less than 15 hours of listening and sounds fantastic. I kept the foam insert between the earpads when not listening to ensure there was no pad compression.

I live in the bay area so local pickup is possible. I'll ship it for $20 FREE anywhere in the U.S. besides for HI or AK. Please send me serious offers only as this pair of headphones is practically brand new.

I will only work with people who have verified paypal accounts and shipped to verified paypal address. I will waive the paypal fee as well.

just a heads up, these are 1945 new and at your price 1900 + 25 = 1925 that's shy of 20$ from a new one. You might want to consider your asking price.

That is true. I'll see what offers come in if any. The paypal fee is quite steep for an expensive pair of headphones so i'm going to eat that cost.

Take this as a friendly tip and not as a "correction".

There have been several LCD-3 in "as new condition" unsold for weeks when in the viscinity of 1600-1700, so if you're keen to sell them within a reasonable time figure, that lower value might find the right buyer faster.

I've been looking for used LCD-3's for a couple of months (bought a brand new pair in the end), so I've been lurking the FS-prices for quite a while.

Good luck with the sale, it's a fantastic headphone.

All the best,
V

Changed to free shipping.

I'll echo what ValentinHogea has offered in advice.

I had a set of LCD-3s on the board a few months back, asking $1750, and many of the offers I received were a bit lower.

No one wants to pay anywhere close to retail for a used set, regardless if they are only 1, 2, or 3 months used.

They'd much rather fork over the $1900 for a new set.

This is called crapping the guy's listing.  If he's not making a profit on it then no need to post this stuff publicly - if you're genuinely interested I'm sure you can PM him with competing authorized dealer offers.

This is a forum audiophile, when an offer is best, newer, it must be said.

No, this is a FS listing.  There is no flipping involved, so if you have an issue with a seller's price you can take it up with them via PM.  FS listings work differently than the rest of the forums, read the rules.

Hi:

This is actually my first "post" as I joined head-fi just yesterday. Anyway, I am interested in the LCD-3 at a price of $ 1650. I live in India and will pay for the shipping as well. I have paypal account as well so payment will not be an issue. I apologize that I could send you a private message; the server seems to be down at the time of typing this.

Anyway, if you think this works for you, let me know.

Thanks and regards

Sorry, that last line was incorrect.. that should read "......apologize I could NOT send you a private message ....."
