Maxvia, the new revision of the GS-X has a 4 pin XLR out.  If mine is shipped by then, I can bring mine with me to the meet.

Justin, any chance of a GS-X accompanying you? Would love to duel with my Bryston. Would need a 4 pin to dual 3 pin converter cable if you happen to have one (or a HD800 dual 3 pin cable) since GS-X looks to only use dual 3 pin.

 

yes it will be done by then.  it has both a 4 pin XLR and the 2x 3-pin for balanced.

Is everyone ok with a 10-20 dollar collection so we can try and get a venue that suits our needs exactly?  It's optional of course, but would like to get an idea if we need to stick to the libraries or we can start looking at hotels with conference style rooms.  Ideally we want two rooms so we can talk and listen seperately.

Sorry that I'm late to the party.  I'm a long time lurker but new member.

 

Count me in for the meet.  If all goes as planned, I should be able to bring my Perfectwave DAC2 > GS-X rev2 > LCD-2.2 .  I have no problem with a cover charge if it gets us a better space.
