Reminder to those who are bringing extension cords and extra power strips to try to be there at the beginning of setup at 8AM to get the power grid down.

We never really got a good count on extension cords and extra power strips, so please bring whatever you have even if you haven't mentioned bringing any yet.

Mark your cables and strips in some way, paint pen or sharpie or something.

Meet Attendants,

Get excited! I just got in a demo pair of Paradox in from LFF. I brought my pair to the Dallas meet a while back and it received favorable impressions, so I wrote to LFF to see if I could snag a pair for the Austin crowd to listen to. He kindly agreed to loan a pair, so y'all will have a chance to hear them this Saturday.

I was one of the first to purchase the premium Paradox, and wrote about it briefly here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/614134/is-it-true-that-modded-t50rps-specifically-lffs-paradox-mod-is-comparable-to-high-end-headphones-such-as-the-lcd2/150#post_8726341

This new pair is just drop dead gorgeous. The color shift paint on the cups is flawless and very, very attractive. A couple pictures:

So they look great, but how do they sound? Decide for yourself after listening to them. Do be careful with them. redface.gif Loan = I'm responsible for keeping them flawless!

This audition might be the one that gets me. The Paradix were extremely good in Dallas but I resisted.

There's going to be lots of gear to look at on Saturday. With the latest shifts in table assignments, we have only 2 tables open. We have 5 vendor tables and 19 member tables, that's 22 tables full of gear. Get there early and stay late or you will certainly miss something.

Well, you'll have plenty of time to check out the LG without even having to leave your rig unattended as you'll be right by my table...

I'll bring an extension cord and probably my Monster power conditioner (it's not great, but it's got plenty of outlets for me).  I should be there pretty early.

Really looking forward to meeting you as well, Justin.

Why in god's name am I up this early? I have a feeling I'll end up napping after I clean my place this morning.

Me and another guy have table 36, are we splitting it? If so, that's fine. wink.gif

Looking great.  This is going to be an awesome meet.

My sony 3ks may not make it.  I replaced the connector last night and there are still channel problems, I think they may need a full recable since they aren't cabled per ear.  All this meet is missing is a vendor who can fix headphones on the spot! cool.gif

Oh well, other than having a sound stage that may even rival the 800s, they aren't that remarkable these days.
