I *might* get the new Mad Dogs with ALPHA pads before the meet... Should I? I've been looking at the regular ones for quite a while now...

Really need some more payments guys. It'd really help out if we could get as many people to pre-pay as possible. If you're bringing guests, make sure they know they need $20 as well. 

 

We just had another vendor inquire about getting on board so it sounds like it's getting bigger and better as we get closer! Less than a month away!

 

EDIT: If you plan to pay at the door let us know. It still makes it easier to plan.

I was in the test group and have the new pads.  I certainly won't discourage you from ordering them sight unseen, but I'll have them at the meet should you find yourself hesitant.

Leckerton as in the maker of portable DAC/amps?

Just looked up their location. I had no idea they were Austin based. Cool!

Very interested in the Gungnir and the 650s. I've been wanting to hear both.

I'd never heard of Leckerton. I'd be super excited for them to come. Their dac amp combos look quite nice to me. I'd love to audition one. I don't have a dac at the moment...

Plodding along on payments. We're in the lul between people who pay right away and the procrastinators, hence why Travis and I have been prodding a bit lately. Currently stand $460 of $725 paid or committed. We look to be in good shape to pay off with normal admission, just need 13 more people to cover, so hold off on any bonus offers for now. As this is our first paid venue, I'm sort of using it as a test to see what we can manage with normal funding before trying to go bigger. Even with normal admissions, I am expecting a small overage, and I set the entry fee at $20, a little high considering our expected attendance (40-50), but I also did that knowing that next year will probably be bigger and need a bigger room. Having a bit of money left over this time softens the blow for the expansion next year. The bigger room at this event center is almost twice the price as our current room, ~$1300.
