Plodding along on payments. We're in the lul between people who pay right away and the procrastinators, hence why Travis and I have been prodding a bit lately. Currently stand $460 of $725 paid or committed. We look to be in good shape to pay off with normal admission, just need 13 more people to cover, so hold off on any bonus offers for now. As this is our first paid venue, I'm sort of using it as a test to see what we can manage with normal funding before trying to go bigger. Even with normal admissions, I am expecting a small overage, and I set the entry fee at $20, a little high considering our expected attendance (40-50), but I also did that knowing that next year will probably be bigger and need a bigger room. Having a bit of money left over this time softens the blow for the expansion next year. The bigger room at this event center is almost twice the price as our current room, ~$1300.
