Here's a layout I have for the Pecan room. The room is 42 x 47. The tables in this picture are slightly wider than your standard collapsing tables (36" vs 30") so there will be actually about 4 feet between the table sets, not 3. That smaller corridor is for the back side of gear, presenters to sit and store boxes, etc. There should be plenty of space at the walls of the room for further storage, especially the back corners. The front horizontal table will have name tags and this is where you will pay the cover fee if you haven't done so prior to arriving. This leaves 24 6 foot tables for gear, enough for approximately 48 rigs.
The entry doors are towards the right side. The first bank of tables might be moved back a foot or two to give more entry space. I'll assign table spots at some point, vendors will be on the back wall where they will have more room and can easily take multiple tables if needed. The center row of tables will be the last assigned, hoping we don't need them except as a place to sit and talk, since we don't have enough room to have a full double set of tables for there to be a proper 'back' area, something easily possible in the larger Red Oak ballroom... maybe next time.
